We have different programs depending on the child's age. Children who are Ages 4-6 participate in our Ninjas Program. Children who are Ages 7-12 participate in our Juniors Program. We have parents asking about the child who is not quite 4 years old. We do evaluate the younger child to see if they are ready. If your child is not quite 4 years old please call us at 508-493-3471. It is very possible your child could be ready to participate in the Ninjas Program

No, you will get into shape as you train. We have a series of exercises that you will learn as you progress through the ranking system which will enable you to perform the self defense techniques.

No, you are not too old to begin martial arts training. Kenpo regularly has students start from adolecense through their 50's and older. Kenpo is a practical and effective martial art that does not incorporate gymnastics. Our focus is healthy lifestyle changes.

Attending two classes per week is recommended, as is practicing at home. As you progress through the ranks if you want more 1:1 attention we offer 30 minute private lessons which can further help hone your skills.

In Kenpo Karate, it takes approximately 3 years to reach black belt - either our junior black belt or adult black belt.

Here are some helpful recommendations: 1)The karate school facility should be clean and well maintained. 2) Interaction between instructors and students is supportive and positive. A good school will address your needs. 3) Enroll in an introductory class.
